Exploiting inefficiencies in sustainable investing
Rapid evolution in sustainable investing creates market inefficiencies that we believe offer active investors ample opportunities for alpha generation. The market’s focus on short-term growth, a reliance on imprecise third-party ESG ratings, and ignorance of physical climate risks, are just a few of the information gaps we observe today.
Please start your day at PRI in Person at an engaging breakfast with Wellington’s director of sustainable investment. You will learn about these and other critical market inefficiencies that may help you identify ways to unlock value for your clients.
Featured speaker: Wendy Cromwell, Director, Sustainable Investment
As director of Sustainable Investment, Wendy sets the research agenda and strategies for Wellington’s sustainable investment practice, including impact, climate, and long-term engagement strategies. As vice chair, Wendy is a senior member of the firm’s management team and works with the CEO with respect to external affairs of the organization, with a focus on representing our firm globally with clients, prospects, government organizations, and industry groups.
She serves as a director on the board of the United Nations-supported Principles for Responsible Investment.
